Verify docs claims against the live codebase - paths, commands, symbols, config keys - each reported accurate, stale or unverifiable. Reports; it does not rewrite docs.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

Catch documentation that has drifted from the code - the failure that quietly
misleads every new reader of a distributed project. Extract the checkable claims
from the target docs and test each against the actual repo, then report each as
accurate, stale, or unverifiable.
This is the docs-verifier engine only; the doc WRITER is collapsed out
(DESIGN §2). cad-docs-verify never rewrites a doc - it produces the findings a
human (or a later edit) acts on.

How to install
mdr add crenshawdev/cadence/cad-docs-verify@sha256:5401a8260fed20d8The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261029.0ae5ff0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
