Find and install agent skills when the user asks for a capability that may already exist as a skill.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Find Skills This skill helps you discover and install skills from the open agent skills ecosystem. ## When to Use This Skill Use this skill when the user: - Asks "how do I do X" where X might be a common task with an existing skill - Says "find a skill for X" or "is there a skill for X" - Asks "can you do X" where X is a specialized capability - Expresses interest in extending agent capabilities - Wants to search for tools, templates, or workflows - Mentions they wish they had help with a specific domain (design, testing, deployment, etc.) ## The skill tools Cherry gives you two built-in tools for skills — use them, and do NOT shell out to `npx skills`, `git`, or any package manager: - **`search_skills(query)`** — search the marketplace by keyword. Returns matches, each with an opaque `install_source` value. - **`install_skill(install_source)`** — install ONE skill into Cherry's managed library and enable it for this agent. Cherry clones the repo, installs just that one skill, and registers it in a single deterministic step. How to install
mdr add cherryhq/cherry-studio/find-skills@sha256:0d8c6b345231f18eThe line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
