Write, update, or revise a high-quality article given a target audience and relevant sources. Use when the user wants to write a new article, update or revise an existing article (to keep tone, structure, and style consistent with prior writing), or improve an article's research, clarity, or flow. Produces a structured, well-researched article tailored to the audience's knowledge level and interests, adding visualizations where they aid comprehension.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Write Article Produces a high-quality article from a target audience definition and a set of relevant sources. Adapts tone, depth, and structure to fit the audience. ## Prerequisites - **Target audience**: Who will read this article (e.g., "senior backend engineers", "product managers unfamiliar with ML", "general tech enthusiasts") - **Relevant sources**: URLs, file paths, or inline content to draw from (research papers, blog posts, docs, notes, etc.) - **Topic** (optional): If not inferable from sources, state the article topic explicitly If sources are not yet gathered, run `/research-article` first to discover the state of the art and produce a research brief whose key sources feed this skill. If you decide not to run it, say so and give your reasoning before proceeding, so the user can course-correct. This applies to **every** article, including opinion and perspective pieces. An opinion piece is not exempt from research: before taking a position, gather the sources that inform it (the strongest arguments for and against, relevant data, prior writing on the topic) and cite them. …

How to install
mdr add tomzx/agents/create-article@sha256:cbf3440d1ee5611aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.b35fc4b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
