llm-integration SKILL.md skillB
llm-integration from ehnruiz/claude-skills is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add ehnruiz/claude-skills/llm-integration@git:20261015.dd12a4bPins git:20261015.dd12a4b in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Checklist for code that calls a language model or exposes a system to one. Use when writing or reviewing code that calls a model API (Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock, Gemini, Perplexity), a prompt or prompt template, structured model output, an MCP server or tools an agent will call, or a surface that carries user- or web-controlled text to a model without calling one (a tool result, a chat card, a ticket). Also use when choosing which model a product's code calls, or pricing those API requests.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Model calls A model appears in a system in one of three roles, and the checklist applies to each: - **Component**: the feature calls a model to summarize, classify, extract or draft. Its output feeds your code. - **Subject**: you measure what a model says (which sources an answer engine cites, how a chatbot answers a customer question). The answer is the data, so it must not be smoothed over. - **Caller**: an agent calls your system through tools (an MCP server, a function-calling API). Your system is the component, and the model is the client. Keep deterministic parts deterministic: a pass/fail gate, a score or a compliance verdict does not take a model's word as its input unless the design says so explicitly. ## Prompts are source code - A prompt lives in a versioned file or a config entry with an `id`, never inline in a call site. Rewording is a reviewed change; changing the `id` means it is a different question and any trend over its answers restarts. - Changing a prompt or a model is a behavior change: run it against a fixed set of recorded cases (an eval set) before it ships, and compare with the previous version. …

How to install
mdr add ehnruiz/claude-skills/llm-integration@sha256:056fa1be11acd0e1The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261015.dd12a4b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
