Bootstrap — seed ~/.mindfunnel/ with AGENTS.md, SOUL.md, USER.md, and PROJECT.md.example from the plugin's bundled templates. Use the first time you run the mindfunnel plugin on a new machine, when ~/.mindfunnel/ is missing, or after an mf upgrade that adds links. Idempotent — detects existing files and never overwrites. Also creates a CLAUDE.md symlink pointing at AGENTS.md inside ~/.mindfunnel/, and — for each agent installed — ~/.claude/{CLAUDE,SOUL,USER}.md + ~/.codex/{AGENTS,SOUL,USER}.md…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# /mf:setup — bootstrap `~/.mindfunnel/`
Seed the user's personal `~/.mindfunnel/` directory with the editable scaffolding the other mindfunnel skills depend on. Run **once per machine**, and again after an upgrade that adds a link. Idempotent: if `~/.mindfunnel/` already looks complete **and** Step 4 reports every link already in place, say so and stop. A complete `~/.mindfunnel/` alone is not enough — an upgrade can add links to it.
## Important
1. **Never overwrite user content.** Every target is created only if absent; the only things ever replaced are a dangling symlink and Step 3's own `CLAUDE.md` link. The user may have already edited `SOUL.md` or `USER.md` — destroying them is unacceptable.
2. **Templates live at `${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/templates/`.** That environment variable is set by Claude Code when this skill runs. Do not hard-code a path; always use the variable.
3. **`CLAUDE.md` inside `~/.mindfunnel/` is a symlink** to `AGENTS.md` in the same directory. This is the standard convention; both names point at the same content.

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
