servo-control SKILL.md skillB
This file is byte-identical to the first copy the registry indexed, one of 3 indexed copies. Same content hash, so the same checks give both the same grade.
servo-control from autonomous-ai/lampos is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.

Use to aim/point/look the device in a DIRECTION, toggle servo state (hold/resume/release), or play a named servo animation (nod/shake/etc). In a movement/hold context, "back to normal", "turn to normal position" and "return to idle" mean resume; "look straight ahead" only means aim center. ALSO the skill for SEARCHING — "where are you", "find my keyboard/cup/phone", "look around for X", "scan the whole room" — which sweeps the room with the camera via /servo/search…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Servo Control
## Quick Start
Controls the device's servo motors for directional aiming and physical animations. Use `/servo/aim` for directional pointing, `/servo/play` for expressive animations.
## Workflow
1. Determine whether the user wants to **aim**, **play an animation**, or **change motion state** (hold, resume, release). Apply the resume-vs-direction rules below before choosing a marker.
2. Prefix reply with the appropriate `[HW:...]` marker — the device fires it before TTS.
3. Confirm the action to the user.
**Important**: For conversation reactions, use the **Emotion** skill instead — it combines servo + LED + eyes automatically.
## Examples
**Input:** "Point the light at my desk"
**Output:** `[HW:/servo/aim:{"direction":"desk"}]` Done, aimed the light at your desk.
**Input:** "Look at the desk" / "Look at my table" / "Look at my workspace"
**Output:** `[HW:/servo/aim:{"direction":"desk"}]` Looking at the desk now.
**Input:** "Look at the wall"
**Output:** `[HW:/servo/aim:{"direction":"wall"}]` Looking at the wall.
**Input:** "Look at me"
**Output:** `[HW:/servo/aim:{"direction":"user"}]` Looking at you!
**Input:** "Look to the left"

How to install
mdr add autonomous-ai/lampos/servo-control@sha256:6a42f5c84f54469aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.9dbd861, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
