Create, read, update, validate and audit the project's brand file, .atelier/brand.json (studio, product, voice, hex palette, font stacks, logos, social handles, deploy target, motion and surface tokens). Use when starting a design workflow, running /brand-init, /brand-get, /brand-set or /brand-audit, changing a brand color or font, or checking brand.json against its schema.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
Skills such as design-token-sync and og-card-generator read this file. Every command works on `<root>/.atelier/brand.json`, with `--root` defaulting to the current directory.

JS API (synchronous). The module path is passed as an argument and turned into a file URL, so the same line works on Windows, macOS and Linux. This one sets the accent in `./.atelier/brand.json` and prints what the audit still misses:

How to install
mdr add ethany33/atelier/brand-memory@sha256:314f3de117645f55The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260923.48884bf, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
