Run a goal through flash workers instead of Claude subagents: frame it, cut it into coherent slices, dispatch with flash_task/flash_batch, verify every result yourself, review with a read-only worker, fix in rounds until a review finds nothing real, then apply. Use whenever the user says "use flash-agents", "fan out", "delegate this", or when a task means reading or writing more code than fits a tight token budget. Not for design decisions; those stay with you.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Delegate: you steer, flash workers do the reading and writing The point of this plugin is to spend a cheap model's tokens instead of yours. So: **no Claude subagents** (no Explore, no forks, no `/code-review`) for anything a flash worker can do — mapping a codebase, porting tests, implementing a slice, reviewing a diff. You keep architecture, acceptance, verification and judgement. Everything else goes out. ## 1. What a worker is - A DeepSeek Flash worker is a mid-tier thinking model, and it is more capable than "flash" suggests. Measured on a 50k-line Swift app (2026-09-17): a 1,250-line provider seam with a fake, 15 tests and three re-pointed scripts in 30 min; an 11-finding security fix round, each finding with a fail-before/pass-after test, in 40 min; a 1,500-line harness rework with 29 tests in 37 min; a 7,000-line file split into 16 files with 41 grep-based scripts re-pointed (it hit the hour budget, and the salvaged patch was complete). It reports honestly — real command output, real counts, a "caveats" section that is where the information is. - What it reliably gets wrong, and therefore what your review must read: **flow semantics** …

How to install
mdr add tomw1808/flash-agents/delegate@sha256:38ad14510a31a8f9The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261028.d7ec236, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
