Opinionated constraints for building better web interfaces with coding agents. Use this skill whenever the user asks you to build, review, or fix a UI — landing pages, dashboards, components, or any frontend code — and whenever you write Tailwind CSS, motion/react animations, accessible component primitives (Base UI, React Aria, Radix), or review agent-generated interface code for quality, accessibility, and performance. Also trigger for "make the UI better", "review my interface…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# UI Skills When invoked, apply these opinionated constraints for building better interfaces. ## How to use - `/ui-skills` Apply these constraints to any UI work in this conversation. - `/ui-skills <file>` Review the file against all constraints below and output: - violations (quote the exact line/snippet) - why it matters (1 short sentence) - a concrete fix (code-level suggestion) ## Stack - MUST use Tailwind CSS defaults unless custom values already exist or are explicitly requested - MUST use `motion/react` (formerly `framer-motion`) when JavaScript animation is required - SHOULD use `tw-animate-css` for entrance and micro-animations in Tailwind CSS - MUST use `cn` utility (`clsx` + `tailwind-merge`) for class logic ## Components - MUST use accessible component primitives for anything with keyboard or focus behavior (`Base UI`, `React Aria`, `Radix`) - MUST use the project’s existing component primitives first - NEVER mix primitive systems within the same interaction surface - SHOULD prefer [`Base UI`](https://base-ui.com/react/components) for new primitives if compatible with the stack - MUST add an `aria-label` to icon-only buttons …

How to install
mdr add svngoku/coding-agents-skills/ui@sha256:92217a622e81fc43The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260813.0a4d32e, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
