Plan or resume a large Context knowledge project, including initial research and updates across source versions. Use when explicitly requested, when continuing a PLAN report, or within an authorized Context project involving more than 30 source documents or substantive investigation of at least two repositories.

# Context Project Planning Turn an authorized knowledge project into a reviewed project plan and bounded production stages. This Skill handles project research and coordination outside the production Graph; the installed `context` Skill performs each stage through its existing workflow, review and publishing rules. Use the installed `context-plan` entry for explicit planning and continuation of a `PLAN-*.md` report. Within an authorized Context knowledge task, use this planning layer when the scope has **more than 30 source documents OR at least two repositories requiring substantive investigation**. Recommend it when starting a new knowledge project whose scope needs research. Starting a fresh sandbox alone is not a reason to plan again. Ordinary software planning and coding do not activate it. For ordinary bounded knowledge production, read and follow the `context` entry skill first. This planning skill does not replace its CLI version check, current Route or resource-receipt handoff. How to install
mdr add context4ai/context/context-plan@sha256:4ff2a1c9ebfc7e39The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261003.5165706, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
