Analyzes the user's upcoming or current work week using Work IQ signals (calendar, email volume, and semantic themes) and produces a visualized pacing report — classifying each day as Rest, Light, Focus, or Heavy based on meeting load, back-to-back density, communication volume, and available deep-work time. Designed for anxious users: leads with reassurance, names rest days first, surfaces the dominant themes of the week so it feels intentional, flags which days need focus, and ends with one…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Weekly Pacing Report
A calm, visual read on the user's week using Work IQ signals. The goal is
clarity — never overwhelm.
## Tone Rules (CRITICAL)
The user has anxiety about workload. Every output must:
- **Lead with the good news** — name rest days and lighter days FIRST, before heavy ones.
- Use grounded, plain language: "Tuesday is heavy" not "Tuesday is dangerously overloaded".
- Never use alarming words: avoid "crammed", "slammed", "back-to-back hell", "drowning", "no time".
- Always end with one concrete, gentle suggestion — not a list of warnings.
- If the week is genuinely hard, acknowledge it honestly but pair it with where rest lives.
- Frame the week as a *shape*, not a *score*. Never produce a numeric stress rating.
## Workflow
### 1. Resolve the week
- Determine the target week from the user's phrasing ("this week", "next week", "the week of May 25").
- Use the user's local time zone from system context.
- Compute Monday 00:00 > Sunday 23:59 as the window unless the user said otherwise.
### 2. Pull Work IQ signals in parallel
Run these tool calls in parallel — they are independent:

How to install
mdr add pnp/copilot-prompts/weekly-pacing@sha256:d93ad025e5fe7f37The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260527.632d868, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
