Migrates a project's documents (roadmap, stories, ADRs, specs, sprints) to the studio's current templates, keeping content, IDs and history; detects each format and shows the mapping and a rendered dry run before any write. Use after /adopt when documents predate the templates, when /update reports template drift, or for 'convert the roadmap', 'old story format', 'bring the ADRs up to date'.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Migrate — documents to the current templates
Reply in the project conversation language (CLAUDE.md → Language); code, identifiers, paths and commit messages stay in English.
Templates `.claude/docs/templates/{roadmap,story,adr,product-spec,feature-spec,sprint-plan,backlog,decisions}.md`;
rules `.claude/rules/docs-format.md` (required sections per document type). Writes only after "May I write?", one
document type per gate. Not a rewrite: the content, the decisions and every ID survive; only structure,
markers and links change. `/adopt` classifies the gap, this skill closes it.
## Phase 1: Detect
1. **Initialised?** No `.claude/docs/workflow-catalog.yaml` → `BLOCKED (not initialised — run /init)`, and stop.
2. **Files in scope.** For each type in the argument (`all` = every type), list the files that exist. No files of the requested type at all → `BLOCKED (no documents of this type)`.
3. **Fingerprint each file:**
- roadmap: the `roadmap-format:` header comment (v3.1), a reference-style `## Links` block, `📅 sprint-NN` markers, numbered "Owner decisions", or a foreign format (a companion tool's table, a plain list, a spreadsheet export);

How to install
mdr add gonimar/claude-web-studio/migrate@sha256:32c5b33b25903014The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260927.d019450, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
