Use when creating, changing, or reviewing MongoDB/PostgreSQL/SQLite database work in a real repository, including schema, models, migrations, queries, indexes, transactions, connection config, backup/restore assumptions, dual-database desktop sync, or performance; follow repo-native tooling and meet the production database bar unless the user explicitly asks for a prototype.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Databases Skill Repo-first guidance for creating, changing, and reviewing MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or SQLite database work in real repositories. ## Purpose Use this skill when the task involves database schema, models, migrations, queries, indexes, transactions, seed data, connection config, backup/restore assumptions, or database performance. The goal is not to teach basic database syntax. The goal is to help the agent produce database work that is correct, production-ready, and consistent with the target repository. ## Core Rule Follow the user's requested action. If the user asks for review, review. If the user asks for a plan, plan. If the user asks for implementation, implementation is allowed. In every mode, database work must meet the production database bar unless the user explicitly asks for a throwaway prototype. ## Repo-First Rule Before proposing or editing database work, inspect the target repository first: - Database engine and version - ORM, query builder, or data-access layer - Migration framework and migration conventions - Existing schema, model, index, and query patterns - Connection config and environment conventions …

How to install
mdr add tamnguyendinh/anvien/databases@sha256:78e2617849094870The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260905.74471cc, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
