Read, transcribe and send Telegram messages from your own account: chat history, voice notes and file sends.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

## When to invoke
Use when the user wants something from their own Telegram account: "what did X
write", "listen to X's voice note", "send this PDF to X on Telegram". A Telegram
*bot* sees no history and cannot speak as the user, so it cannot do any of this;
this skill logs in as the user through MTProto instead.
# /telegram — your own account, from the terminal
The CLI is `bin/tg.py` in this skill's directory. It declares its dependencies
inline, so run it through `uv` (plain `python3` has no Telethon). Shell
variables do not survive between tool calls, so spell the path out each time:

A chat is a dialog name, an `@username`, or a numeric id from `chats`. `read`
and `voice` accept a unique substring; `send` accepts only an exact name,

How to install
mdr add timurgaleev/vibestack/telegram@sha256:a21a8d3d620b393bThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.1a0f7f6, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
