End the current agent session and save its state — review the work, update the action tracker, write the session memory, update MEMORY.md and project files, then commit and push. Run it from inside an active agent session; no name needed. Same as /agents:start <name> close. To also clear the conversation afterwards, use /agents:close.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# /agents:wrap — End the session `/agents:wrap` ends the agent session you are currently in and saves its state. It is the standalone form of `/agents:start <name> close` — run it from inside an active session, with no name. (`/agents:close` does the same and then clears the context.) ## Procedure 1. **Identify the active agent.** You have been operating as an agent in this conversation (started earlier with `/agents:start <name>`). That agent is the one to wrap; its directory is `agents/<name>/` or `agents/<scope>/<name>/`. - If no agent has been activated in this conversation, do **not** guess or pick one. Say: "No agent is active in this session — nothing to wrap. To close a specific agent, run `/agents:start <name> close`." Then stop. …

How to install
mdr add normannoble/goagentic/wrap@sha256:da0ecc25375a4577The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260924.f7b206d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
