Create a verify-<app> skill for a Windows desktop app (WPF, WinForms, Win32, Electron) that has no scripted proof yet, so an agent can later prove a change works by driving the real UI with Pointframe and returning a signed report. Use when asked to set up verification for a desktop app repo, to add a verify skill, or to run pstack's create-verification-skill on a Windows desktop project.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Create a verification skill for a Windows desktop app This skill's files are next to this SKILL.md: read `references/recipe.md` and `references/verify-spec.md` from this skill's base directory (Claude Code prints it as "Base directory for this skill"). Do not search elsewhere and do not use web docs. You are writing a project skill, `verify-<app>`, that lets any later agent prove a change to this app in its real UI. Pointframe is the harness: it launches the app, drives it, evaluates checks, and signs the evidence. The full commands, spec fields, role names and trust rules are in `references/recipe.md` and the spec schema in `references/verify-spec.md`. Read them once before you start. Work in the app's repository, in an interactive, unlocked Windows desktop session. Do not ask the user to write policy files or selectors; the spec below is all that is needed. ## 1. Interview the repo Find out, from the code and project files, not by asking: - **Surface.** Which UI framework (WPF, WinForms, Win32, Electron), which project builds the exe, and the relative path of the built exe. - **Run.** The build command (it becomes the build gate) and the test command, if any. …

How to install
mdr add dimitar-radenkov/pointframe/create-desktop-verification-skill@sha256:d8df7e5dc4e9b9a0The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261016.25be634, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
