# Log File Analysis for SEO Crawl tools show what a crawler could find; Search Console shows a sample of what Google reports. Server logs show what bots actually requested, when, and what your server answered. That makes them the most direct evidence for crawl waste, slow discovery, bot-only errors and how much attention AI crawlers pay to a site.
