Quick-reference card for Chisle commands. One-shot display, not a persistent mode. Use when the user says "chisle help", "how do I use chisle", "what chisle commands", or invokes /chisle-help.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Chisle quick reference **What it is:** maximum-efficiency dev mode. Zero-fluff prose + YAGNI-first code, always on together. ## Commands | Command | Effect | |---------|--------| | `/chisle` | Activate | | `/chisle-audit [path]` | Audit a diff/file/repo for both code bloat AND prose verbosity | | `/chisle-review` | Review the current diff for over-engineering | | `stop chisle` / `normal mode` | Deactivate | Natural language works: "activate chisle", "chisle mode", "chislify this". ## The code ladder YAGNI → reuse → stdlib → native → installed dep → one line → minimum code. ## Statusline `[CHISLE]` is shown while active. Configure via `hooks/chisle-statusline.sh` (or `.ps1` on Windows). ## Never minimal about Input validation, error handling that prevents data loss, security, accessibility, anything you explicitly asked for.

How to install
mdr add jaypokale/chisle/chisle-help@sha256:6f6b8faf8b54e4ceThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260911.dea14e2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
