Use when a design, refactor or review document needs a per-decision ruling from one human reviewer and the answers must come back attached to the decision they belong to. Triggers: pasting a long document into chat and getting a wall of prose back, an answer that can't be matched to its question, a reviewer hand-editing answer slots in markdown, or a set of decisions that must each be approved, changed, rejected or deferred before work is scoped.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Owner gate review Generate a **review form** — one card per decision, a verdict control and a notes box — that emits structured markdown. The reviewer clicks and types; the agent gets back a file where every answer is bound to its decision by construction, not by paragraph order. **Why this exists.** Prose feedback loses the mapping from answer to question. Answer slots hand-edited into markdown are better but still lose content: a line-shaped slot hid multi-line answers, and a reader parsing only the marker line reported six points unanswered when every one had a written answer beneath it. How to install
mdr add arasz/ai-badger/owner-gate-review@sha256:c1b2d43944267131The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
