Use when the owner sets up or changes job alerts on a platform (the one-time steps per platform in targets/platforms.yaml), or when a platform's alerts stop arriving, to walk the owner through it and check the mail-triage to job_alerts.py flow end to end.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Set up job alerts (the owner's one-time steps, then the flow check) Owner: platform-scout (card `agents/platform-scout.md`). Tier: T1 (writes `alerts_on` and `alert_setup` in `targets/platforms.yaml`). Accounts, sign-ins and alerts are the owner's actions on the owner's own devices: you give the steps and record what the owner confirms; you never create an account, type a password or click inside a platform. Today is !`date +%F`. ## Inputs 1. `targets/platforms.yaml`: `setup_priority`, `alert_setup`, `alert_senders`, `alerts_on` per platform. 2. `docs/SETUP-CONNECTORS.md` (the alert steps, ordered for the owner). 3. For the flow check: `state/review/job-alerts-<date>.md`, `state/job-alerts.jsonl`. ## Outputs - `alerts_on: <date>` per platform the owner confirmed; `alert_setup` updated when the page changed and the owner confirmed. - A flow check with the pasted `job_alerts.py` summary; `issues.md` rows for unknown layouts. - Reply: platforms set up (with `alerts_on`), flow check result, `Needs you` (the next platforms to set up), `Next` (the flow check date). ## Procedure Work from the user's data folder. …

How to install
mdr add kahl-d/jaja/setup-job-alerts@sha256:a1610eb8ccb7f84cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261023.9f9eaf2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
