Adaptive budget-aware model routing. Manages 4-tier system to maximize $200/mo Max plan usage across full weekly cycle. Run when starting sessions, hitting usage warnings, or optimizing sub-agent costs.

## Adaptive Budget System (Maintainer Directive — April 10, 2026)

The $200/mo Max plan has a weekly rolling limit. Opus burns ~5x faster than Sonnet. Without management, budget exhausts in 3 days.

How to install

The exact contents, by fingerprint

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260526.e594bbf, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
