Use this skill when preparing a Toastty app release build, including Ghostty artifact installation, signed DMG creation, and drafting release notes from the recorded release diff.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Toastty Release Use this workflow when the user asks to cut or prepare a Toastty release build artifact. ## Core flow 1. Ensure the Toastty checkout is clean before running `scripts/release/release.sh`. 2. Ensure the Ghostty release artifact is installed with provenance metadata: - `Dependencies/GhosttyKit.Release.xcframework` - `Dependencies/GhosttyKit.Release.metadata.env` Confirm the metadata's `GHOSTTY_SOURCE_REPO` still exists and contains the recorded `GHOSTTY_COMMIT`; release verification reads license material from that exact source snapshot. 3. Ensure `Sources/App/Resources/ThirdPartyNotices.txt` matches the pinned production web-panel dependencies, recorded Ghostty commit, Sparkle pin, and Toastty license. `scripts/release/release.sh` installs production web-panel packages and runs `scripts/release/generate-third-party-notices.mjs --check`. If the check is stale, regenerate and commit the notice file before retrying, because the release script requires a clean Toastty checkout. 4. How to install
mdr add figelwump/toastty/toastty-release@sha256:bbc2cdff58eecb6dThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260713.8e1e71a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
