Resource tags on Control Plane — labels that organize resources, trigger built-in cpln/ behaviors, and drive targeting. Use when the user asks about tags, labels, tagging, naming conventions, or resource protection.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Tags — Labeling, Built-in Behaviors & Targeting Tags are **key-value labels** on almost every Control Plane resource (workload, GVC, identity, secret, policy, group, domain, image, volumeset, agent, ipset, org, mk8s, user, service account). They live in a top-level `tags:` map. How to install
mdr add controlplane-com/ai-plugin/tag@sha256:dfe38c71b6d6202eThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260925.7bf99b8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
