# Social formats **As of October 2026.** Platforms move their UI and change their specs often. Every number here was collected on 2026-10-13 (sources in [research.md](research.md)); before a big release, check the platform's own spec page, and when a number here proves wrong on a real upload, correct it here with the new date. A video for social media is one film laid out several times, not one film cropped several ways. How to install
mdr add intentface/intentface-launch/social-formats@sha256:be3175b472748088The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261021.0b35412, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
