Author a new HyperFrames registry block (caption style, VFX block, transition, lower third) or component (text effect, overlay, snippet) and ship it as an upstream PR to the hyperframes repo. Use ONLY when the user wants to CONTRIBUTE to the public catalog — for in-project caption/transition authoring use the `hyperframes` skill, for installing existing registry items use the `hyperframes-registry` skill.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Contribute to HyperFrames Registry
Guide the user from idea to merged PR for a new registry block or component.

### Step 1: Clarify
Ask what they're building. The registry has two item types:
- **Block** (`registry/blocks/`, type `hyperframes:block`) — a full standalone composition with fixed dimensions and duration. Caption styles, VFX effects, title cards, lower thirds.
- **Component** (`registry/components/`, type `hyperframes:component`) — a reusable snippet with no fixed dimensions or duration. CSS effects, text treatments, overlays that adapt to any composition size.
Then ask:
- One-sentence description of the effect
- Visual reference (URL, screenshot, or description)
- Who uses this and when?
### Step 2: Scaffold
Create the registry structure:
**For blocks:**

How to install
mdr add frankxai/claude-skills-library/contribute-catalog@sha256:bfae812b3e4b6c0dThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260525.468c26e, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
