Accessibility audit, scoped to the surfaces a product actually has. Detects web / rendered_markdown / terminal / native_app / video_audio / document / headless, then applies only the criteria that bind. WCAG 2.1 AA in full for web; not at all for headless.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Accessibility Audit Evaluate user-facing work against the criteria that BIND TO ITS SURFACES. Accessibility is a design constraint, not a polish step (Downe Principle 11) — and an instrument aimed at a surface the product does not have measures nothing while looking like a failure. ## STEP 1 — SURFACE GATE. Run this BEFORE the checklist, every time. **The checklist below is written for web pages. Most products are not web pages.** Detect which user-facing surfaces this product actually has, from the repository, and evaluate ONLY the criteria that bind to them. How to install
mdr add haabe/mycelium/a11y-check@sha256:d14f79b2ae3e8b04The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260904.e2af329, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
