# Loom Loom is a BEAM-native coding agent harness written in Gleam. Sessions are supervision trees over a durable, write-once conversation store; all effects flow through a capability-checked broker into kernel-enforced sandboxes. ## Start here **`docs/next.md`** is the handoff: where the tree actually is, what to work on next, the design rulings already made, and what is deliberately left open. Read it before planning anything, and rewrite it when you finish a body of work — it is worth more than any status comment. **`docs/execution.md`** is how work gets done here: planning a wave, briefing and monitoring sub-agents, the verification standard, and the hazards that have already cost real time. Read it before dispatching a sub-agent or trusting a green gate. ## Repository skills [BEAM memory review](skills/beam-memory-review/SKILL.md) is an optional, evidence-ranked review of allocation, copying, and retention. mdr add roasbeef/loom/CLAUDE.md@sha256:dafbe1882183da89The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.eccc4dc, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
