Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Security Audit
Read-only review method: **enumerate the surfaces a change touches, then check each against its
required cases.** A surface with a missing case is a finding.
**Scope.** This skill names failures, never technologies. The language, the framework, the validation
library, and the scanner belong to the repository's own `AGENTS.md`.
## When to use
Reviewing a path or a diff for vulnerabilities; hardening any change touching authentication,
authorization, input, data, secrets, files, or the network. Backs the `sec` axis of `{{command:audit}}`.
## Method — how the surface list is built
The checklist below is worthless against a surface nobody listed. Enumerate before you check, in this
order, and write the list down:
1. **What the change touches.** Read the diff and the code around it — not only the changed lines. A
changed function is a surface; so is every caller that now reaches new behavior.

How to install
mdr add atnexuslab/tightship/security-audit@sha256:ee1c5add113acbeaThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261015.8e86e2c, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
