Manages AWS architecture, IAM, cloud services, deployments and costs.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# aws ## Scope Covers the AWS control plane and the architecture decisions that sit on top of it: identity (IAM policy evaluation, permissions boundaries, trust policies, SCPs, Organizations, STS), serverless compute and integration (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS, EventBridge), deployment through AWS's own tooling (CloudFormation, SAM, CDK) including stack recovery and safe refactoring, managed data service selection and its quotas, networking as it affects cost and reachability (VPC endpoints, NAT, cross-AZ), the EKS and ECS control planes, the CloudWatch product surface, Well-Architected trade-offs, and cost analysis. Not covered: - Terraform and OpenTofu — HCL, modules, state, `moved`/`import`, `terraform test`. Use the `terraform` skill, even when every resource in the file is an AWS resource. Where this skill shows infrastructure as code it uses AWS's own tools; if the user is on Terraform, the service selection and quota reasoning here still applies and the syntax does not. - Dockerfiles, Compose, Kubernetes manifests, Helm and Kustomize, probes, resource limits and Pod security. Use the `containers` skill. The split at EKS is: cluster creation, node …

How to install
mdr add lynricsy/hyperskills/aws@sha256:ff71fb8c08482776The line at the top of this page pins the label v2026.10.15, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
