Use when reviewing, triaging, or prioritizing open tracked work across repos — "triage my issues", "review open issues", "what's open / what should I work on next", "list issues by ease (or priority)", "which backlog items are safe to tackle while X runs in another session", "clean up needlessly open / stale issues", or checking that issues are still applicable, still needed, and still a good idea given repo intent. Verifies each item against ground truth before any mutation…

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

What the file says

# Triage Work — the periodic ledger review

## Intent

Tracked items drift: gates get met but nothing closes, priorities rot, work gets blocked externally and the label never changes, decisions pile up unmade, and items outlive the repo's intent. Triage is the periodic pass that restores the ledger to reality: **verify every suspicious item against ground truth, close what's done, repair what's mislabeled, route what isn't agent work, and rank what remains.**

This is the interactive analyst layer. It sits between **track-work** (item CRUD, backend selection, intake) and the **Backlog** workflow (autonomous execution). Triage prepares and cleans; it never implements — no specs, no code, no tests for the items it reviews. Its output is a decision-ready report plus a cleaned queue an execution run can consume without re-deriving any of this.

How to install

The exact contents, by fingerprint
mdr add moonray/repoprompt-workflows/triage-work@sha256:76c3130b3b374c88

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261016.56fd8e8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
