Git commit workflow pipeline: atomic unit identification, commit ordering, quality gates, message validation, and post-commit verification.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Commit Pipeline <prerequisite> **Load the commit-message skill first.** It gives the message conventions. ```text Skill(git-commit:commit-message) ``` Do not start the pipeline before that skill is loaded. </prerequisite> ## Project Configuration <project-config> A project can define its commit requirements in its CLAUDE.md file. The requirements are in a `<git-commit-config>` block: ```xml <git-commit-config> <validator-args> <flag name="require-trailers" value="Task"/> </validator-args> <extra-instructions> Project-specific commit guidance goes here. </extra-instructions> </git-commit-config> ``` Read the project CLAUDE.md file before the pipeline starts. Then obey the two elements: - **`<validator-args>`** — give each flag to the validator. `<flag name="X" value="Y"/>` becomes `--X "Y"` on the command line. - **`<extra-instructions>`** — the guidance with the highest priority for this commit. Obey it in each step. How to install
mdr add xobotyi/cc-foundry/commit@sha256:91bcfd35166dbff9The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261029.3124ccf, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
