Resume codex-pair for this project after a previous pause. Removes `.codex-pair/state/paused` and clears failure state. Review resumes on the next supported file edit; missing state is a no-op.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
<!-- PORTABLE-CONTRACT:START --> ## Portable contract Remove the project-local pause sentinel and clear the consecutive-failure counter so the next successful edit can be reviewed. Missing state is a no-op. <!-- PORTABLE-CONTRACT:END --> ## Host adapters ### Pi adapter Run `/codex-pair-resume` or remove the sentinel and failure counter exactly as described by the portable contract. ### Other hosts adapter Apply the portable contract above: remove the sentinel and failure counter exactly as described. It resumes the codex-pair reviewer that Claude Code or Pi runs for this project. <!-- HOST-ADAPTER:CLAUDE-CODE:START --> ### Claude Code adapter The existing detailed workflow below is the Claude Code adapter. Its Agent, MCP, hook, `CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT`, and `AskUserQuestion` mechanics apply only on Claude Code; they do not override the Pi adapter above. # Resume codex-pair for this project …

How to install
mdr add lykhoyda/ask-llm/ask-llm-codex-pair-resume@sha256:af69a1974baf65d4The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261002.162238f, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
