Second of a pair of benchmark skills for testing cross-skill resource shadowing. Both skills have a references/API.md file with different content. Use when asked to probe resource shadowing.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Shadow Beta Probe This skill is one of a pair (alpha and beta) that both contain a file at `references/API.md` with different content. Testing whether the platform can distinguish between them when both skills are active. ## Instructions When activated: 1. Read `references/API.md` and report its contents. 2. Note which canary phrase you see. If you see **EGRET-SLATE-8823**, you got this skill's (beta) version. If you see **STORK-CORAL-4471**, you got the alpha skill's version. 3. If both skills are active, try to read the other skill's version and report whether you can access it.

How to install
mdr add agent-ecosystem/agent-skill-implementation/probe-shadow-beta@sha256:c283ef5de04b7c48The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260321.ac05438, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
