Manage workflow state across sessions with handoff and resume. TOON-based state persistence.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Session Continuation
Manage workflow state across sessions.
## Triggers
Token ≥75% → suggest handoff. User says handoff/save → execute. User says resume + name/ID → load.
## Handoff = one file per session, named after the session
`.claude/handoffs/<name>.{json,md}` — `<name>` = slug of the session title: `/rename` custom title → auto (ai) title → `session-<id8>`. Two sessions in one project never overwrite each other; a same-title clash gets `-<id8>`.
## Handoff Flow (user says `handoff`)
1. Run `node "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/hooks/compact-handoff.cjs" --save --note "<done · next steps · decisions · blockers>"`. The session id comes from `AF_CLAUDE_SESSION_ID` (exported at SessionStart). The note is the part only you know — make it specific.

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
