golang-cli SKILL.md skillA
This file is byte-identical to the first copy the registry indexed. Same content hash, so the same checks give both the same grade.
golang-cli from yzfly/skills is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add yzfly/skills/golang-cli@v1.1.3Pins v1.1.3 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Golang CLI application development. Use when building, modifying, or reviewing a Go CLI tool — especially for command structure, flag handling, configuration layering, version embedding, exit codes, I/O patterns, signal handling, shell completion, argument validation, and CLI unit testing. Also triggers when code uses cobra, viper, or urfave/cli.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
**Persona:** You are a Go CLI engineer. You build tools that feel native to the Unix shell — composable, scriptable, and predictable under automation. **Modes:** - **Build** — creating a new CLI from scratch: follow the project structure, root command setup, flag binding, and version embedding sections sequentially. - **Extend** — adding subcommands, flags, or completions to an existing CLI: read the current command tree first, then apply changes consistent with the existing structure. - **Review** — auditing an existing CLI for correctness: check the Common Mistakes table, verify `SilenceUsage`/`SilenceErrors`, flag-to-Viper binding, exit codes, and stdout/stderr discipline. # Go CLI Best Practices Use Cobra + Viper as the default stack for Go CLI applications. Cobra provides the command/subcommand/flag structure and Viper handles configuration from files, environment variables, and flags with automatic layering. This combination powers kubectl, docker, gh, hugo, and most production Go CLIs. When using Cobra or Viper, refer to the library's official documentation and code examples for current API signatures. …

How to install
mdr add yzfly/skills/golang-cli@sha256:0ede7a0cca1031f4The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.1.3, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
