Use when the workflow you are following has you write down rulings, calls or provisional decisions in a ledger or progress file that is thrown away when the work ends.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Recording rulings Some workflows have the agent decide and go on instead of stopping to ask, and keep what it decided in a ledger beside the work: a line per ruling, with what was ruled, why, and what it costs if it is wrong. Where that ledger is thrown away when the work ends, the calls go with it. Recorded in mnema, they are kept with the repository, signed, and a person can accept or reject each one later. This skill leaves the workflow as it is. The ledger stays where the workflow keeps it, and each ruling is also recorded. <SUBAGENT-STOP> If you were dispatched by another agent to do a task, you do not record. Put each ruling you made in your final reply, as the workflow's own ledger line says it, and let whoever dispatched you record it. How to install
mdr add felipesauer/mnema/recording-rulings@sha256:1ad74141ebec0536The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261028.2f9afed, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
