Use Gitmoot for local-first AI agent coordination across repositories, reviews, GitHub PR comments, daemon jobs, stuck jobs, branch locks, agent templates, custom prompt agents, orchestration, heartbeats, pipelines, routing telemetry, event webhooks, the web dashboard, runtime metadata, and Codex, Claude Code, Kimi Code, or omp runtime workflows.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Gitmoot Agent Skill This root `SKILL.md` is kept as a raw compatibility entrypoint for agents and `gitmoot.io/SKILL.md`. The canonical Agent Skills package lives at `skills/gitmoot/`, with deeper reference files under `skills/gitmoot/references/`. Gitmoot is a local-first coordinator for AI agents working across repositories, reviews, PR comments, and runtime workflows. Use this skill when the user wants PR-comment agent workflows, repo-scoped agent subscriptions, background daemon checks, Codex, Claude Code, Kimi Code, or omp agent startup, structured implementation plans, agent template inspection, custom prompt agents, job status, branch lock inspection, declarative pipelines, agent memory, routing telemetry, or runtime metadata. Gitmoot's CLI evolves quickly. If the user names a Gitmoot feature or command that is not covered here, verify the live surface with `gitmoot --help` and the relevant `gitmoot <command> --help` before answering. How to install
mdr add gitmoot/gitmoot/gitmoot@sha256:bda0c3d3a023c213The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.1.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
