Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Pipeline Digest
Delta-gated wrapper over the pipeline facts `/release-status` reports in full. A quiet day costs one script call and sends nothing.
## Steps
### 1. Collect

Run from the repo root. Two possible outputs:
- `NOCHANGE` — the pipeline is exactly where it was last time. Say so in one line and stop. Do not send anything.
- `CHANGED|<hash>` followed by the digest body — continue.
### 2. Report and notify
Print the digest body in the conversation. Then send it to the operator:

with `{"maintainer": "<the digest, channel-voiced>"}` on stdin. The `hermitd-run` dispatcher resolves the installed plugin itself — do not try to derive a plugin root from this skill's Base directory, which points at `.claude/`, not the plugin.
Channel voice: plain language, no file paths, no slash commands, no cron strings. Plugin names and versions are fine — the maintainer chat is the technical audience. Lead with what the operator can act on.

How to install
mdr add gtapps/claude-code-hermit/pipeline-digest@sha256:ff338deda2666ad3The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261002.2f2da1b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
