Control LUCID's terminal hub (`lucid hub`) from a coding agent: check that a hub is running, list and arrange its spaces, tabs, and panes, put decks in panes, spawn and prompt fleet agents, poll their status, and read their output, all through the JSON control CLI. Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# LUCID hub
`lucid hub` is LUCID's terminal UI. It is a client of the LUCID engine, the same loopback, token-gated engine the desktop app talks to. The hub arranges the terminal into **spaces**, each space holds **tabs**, each tab splits into **panes**, and each pane shows one **deck**: overview, security, fleet, sessions, audit, usage, network, kg. A persistent **sidebar** (toggle `b`) holds a spaces panel and an agents panel. **Agents** are fleet lanes run by the engine. Every lane is an omp child with LUCID's security gate loaded in-process, so the gate applies to an agent you start from the CLI exactly as it does to one started from the GUI.
The control CLI, `lucid hub <command>`, talks to a running hub and prints JSON on stdout. Use it to inspect what the human is looking at, lay out panes, start agents, hand them work, and read what they produced.
## Verify before you control
Before any other hub command, check that a live hub answers:

Exit status 0 with a JSON object that has no `error` field means a verified hub is listening. `{"error":"no_hub"}` with exit status 1 means there is no hub to control: say so and stop.

How to install
mdr add mlcyclops/lucidagentide/lucid-hub@sha256:8f3e0cce4e2d3437The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261004.5c3f4d0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
