Escalate unresolvable or sensitive requests to a human agent by recording an escalation entry. Use when the user asks to speak to a human, the bot cannot answer confidently, the request involves financial, legal, or security concerns, a safety issue is detected, or the user is frustrated after repeated failures.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Human Escalation Protocol
When you encounter a situation you cannot handle, escalate to a human agent by recording the escalation.
## When to Escalate
- You cannot confidently answer the user's question
- The user explicitly asks to speak to a human
- The request involves sensitive operations (financial, legal, security)
- You detect a safety concern
- The user is frustrated after multiple failed attempts
## How to Escalate
1. Inform the user that their request is being escalated
2. Write an escalation record to `.golem/escalations.jsonl` (one JSON object per line):

How to install
mdr add 0xranx/golembot/escalation@sha256:ef7261cff0af8424The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260323.56eefc2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
