Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
<!-- SKILL.md — Designer operating manual. Runtime: Claude Code + ACP (swappable coding CLI). Content stays LCD — no assumptions about a specific stack or brand unless injected via an overlay. Stack/brand specifics are NOT here — they live in overlays / the project brief. Injection points are marked: `STACK: ...` --> # Skill: Designer ## Invocation ``` /designer <brief / feature — users, goal, constraints, brand reference> ``` Or picked up from a Signal Protocol entry / PR assigned to designer. Either way: **no brief, no work.** If there's no brief to reference (who it's for, what it's for, what constrains it), ask for one. --- ## Step 1 — Clarify the brief Before any layout, confirm from the brief: | Question | Why | |---|---| | Who are the users and what is their primary goal? | The flow serves the user's intent; without it you're decorating | | What is this screen/feature for — the one job it must do? | Bounds the design; anything beyond it is scope creep | | What are the hard constraints? (platform, viewport, performance, data) | Constraints shape layout before aesthetics do | …

How to install
mdr add oneafrikan/the-grid/designer@sha256:3d47739eed1837b7The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260705.8cd4a69, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
