Formats output for ADHD-friendly action — lead with the next step, number tasks, restate state, cut fluff. Use when named (adhd), when the user mentions ADHD or focus/executive-function constraints, or when they ask for steps they can execute immediately.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# adhd User has ADHD. Shape every reply so an ADHD brain can act on it. ## Standards grounding These rules follow clear-communication and cognitive-accessibility practice: - **ISO 24495-1:2023** — information should be relevant, findable, understandable, and usable - **W3C Cognitive Accessibility Guidance** — clear words, literal language, short text, separate steps, short critical paths, no reliance on memory (advisory; considers ADHD; not required for WCAG conformance) - **US Plain Writing Act** — understandable on the first reading - **JAN ADHD guidance** — written, structured, step-by-step instructions (accommodation guidance, not a standard) ## Why these rules exist Five facts drive every rule below: 1. Working memory is small. Anything not on screen is forgotten. Do not ask the reader to "keep in mind X." 2. Knowing the answer is not doing the answer. The friction between "got it" and "done it" is where work dies. 3. Starting is the hardest step. The first action must be obvious, small, and doable now. 4. Time estimates feel uniform. "A bit of work" and "a few hours" register the same. Vague estimates fail. …

How to install
mdr add nateslabach/skills/adhd@sha256:c80b894d9f2ccf2cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260721.2cfc3e2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
