Use when the user asks to end, close or archive this session, card or worktree — "종료해줘", "세션 종료해줘", "현재 세션 정리해줘", "아카이브해줘", "머지하고 종료하자", "end this session" — when handoff-ticket says this session should go, when an Orca worker is about to send worker_done, or when a card's brief says to close itself. Bare "정리해줘"/"마무리해줘", "작업 기록 남겨줘" or "log this" leaves the record and keeps the session (references/record.md).
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Ending the session
Ending is an `orca` command: Claude Code here runs inside an Orca terminal. `EndConversation`
is the fallback for what Orca cannot reach, not the default.
| Who ends this session | Read |
|---|---|
| The user asked ("종료해줘", "세션 정리해줘", "종료해도 될까?") | [`references/user-ending.md`](references/user-ending.md) first: §1 (is it a request to end), §2 (what `orca worktree current` says this session is), §5 (`EndConversation`), then §3, §4, §6 here |
| An Orca worker settling its task | §7 here, no user phrase needed |
| A card whose brief has a `CLOSE` line, at the brief's done | §8 here, no user phrase needed |
| `handoff-ticket` §5, once its successor card has started | the user path; the verified start is the request |
## 3. Leave the record before anything dies
Orca metadata and this transcript die with the session. Before the command runs, the record must
already exist where it survives: read [`references/record.md`](references/record.md) now and
record by it (what goes to the tracker, what to the notes store, what not at all), and end the
report with its §4 record line:
…Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add jeongjaesoon/agent-skills/end-session@sha256:b29aea45577ec893The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261104.c0ce07f, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
