# goga-define-resolve ## Purpose Resolve product-level conflicts discovered during the definition process. Review the conflicting decisions together with the complete product context, determine the correct product decision, and update the affected parts of the definition so the pipeline can continue with a consistent model. A conflict may appear in one section while its real cause exists somewhere else. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
