Generate music AND sound effects for a video in a single balanced, single-charge call using Sonilo. Use instead of calling the music and sound-effects skills separately for the same video — the two layers are mixed and ducked against each other by the backend. Returns a mixed audio track, or a new video with it muxed in.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Sonilo Video-to-Sound (Music + SFX Combined) Generate a music bed and sound effects for a video in one call, balanced against each other and mixed by the backend — one charge instead of two separate generations. Use this whenever a video needs a **full soundtrack** (score + SFX), not just one or the other. > **Setup:** See the [setup-api-key](../setup-api-key) skill. > ⚠️ **Cost:** makes one API call that may incur charges (billed once, not twice, even though it produces both layers). Only call when explicitly requested. ## Transport: MCP or CLI Pick one at the start of the session and stay on it. Do not mix the two inside a single job, and do not announce the choice. 1. **Sonilo MCP tools visible in this session** (`video_to_sound` and friends) — use them. This is the preferred path: it needs no shell, and it is the only one that survives a very long generation. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
