Interview the user relentlessly about a decision until every branch of the design tree is resolved, then record the result as a short ADR.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Goga discover Interview the user relentlessly until you reach a shared understanding on a decision worth recording. Map this as a **design tree**: every decision branches into the decisions that hang off it. Work the tree in **rounds**. The **frontier** is every decision whose prerequisites are already settled — the questions you can ask _now_ without guessing at answers you haven't heard yet. Ask the whole frontier in one round: number each question and give your recommended answer. Then wait for the user's answers before the next round. Each question should be formatted like so: ``` ❓ **Q1** - **<question title>**: <question body, might be multiple paragraphs, including multiple choices> ➡️ <your recommended answer> ``` Each round the user answers reshapes the tree — settled decisions push the frontier outward and unblock questions that depended on them. Recompute the frontier and ask the next round. A question whose answer depends on another question still open in this round belongs to a _later_ round, not this one. …

How to install
mdr add qarium/goga/goga-discover@sha256:b97af27746afb7d9The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261005.eb95a13, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
