Use this skill whenever the user wants to search for jobs in any location or market, find job listings, or look up a specific job posting - in any country, city, or remotely. Invoke for open positions, vacancies, and hiring across any sector or role (software, data, design, marketing, finance, legal, operations, etc.). The location is always supplied explicitly by the user. Trigger phrases: find a job, job search, search for jobs, job openings, vacancies, hiring, positions open, remote jobs…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# LinkedIn Search Skill Search live job listings from LinkedIn's public job board for **any country/region** (and remote). No authentication, no API key, and **zero runtime dependencies** - it runs with just `bun`. The location is always passed explicitly, so the same skill works for a forker in any market out of the box. > This is a country-agnostic worked example of the repo's job-portal-skill pattern. > LinkedIn's `jobs-guest` endpoints are global and the HTML parsing is country-independent; > only the `--location` you pass changes per market. ## ⚠️ Personal use only This uses LinkedIn's public job pages; automated access is against LinkedIn's Terms of Service, so **keep volume low and don't use it commercially or for bulk data collection.** Run it on your own responsibility. **It ships on, and the person should know what that means.** LinkedIn's robots.txt disallows these endpoints for crawlers it does not name, and a `tools/run_round.py` round sends a portal thousands of requests. It is on because it is where most postings are; a person who would rather not turns it off in `profile/search.py` `PORTALS` (`tools/portals.py` has the detail). ## When to use this skill …

How to install
mdr add aranculleton/last-job-search/linkedin-search@sha256:138fe92527c17eebThe line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
