Use before any task that changes the project, however small (a new feature or a change to one, a bug fix or debugging, a UI tweak, tests, a refactor, a review or a release), before doing any of it yourself, unless the project has its own model-routing skill; route the task among an architect, core engineer, execution engineer and visual verifier, with fallbacks for either installed agent, fixed model settings and cross review.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Routing work between models ## When this applies Read and follow this skill before any task that is more than a quick answer or a one-line change, before planning or doing the work. A quick answer or a one-line fix needs no routing. If the project has its own model-routing skill in skills/, .claude/skills/ or .codex/skills/, or names it as a word in its root AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md, follow that project's skill instead of this built-in. ## What to do 1. Check the installed agents and the project's model settings, then choose the matching setup below. 2. Have the architect plan the work by module, define separate file scopes and agree the shared contracts before implementation. 3. Hold a roundtable: every worker restates its task from the whole plan, you answer its questions, everyone confirms, and the user sees the minutes as tables. 4. Route the builds by difficulty, integrate in dependency order and run the project's checks. 5. Complete stage 4 architecture review and UI acceptance where applicable, resolve findings, consolidate the round into the shared project memory and report the result. ### Roles …

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
