Start an agentic session with pre-flight health checks, auto-repair, optional MCP injection, and provider launch.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# AIWG Session Start a fully-prepared agentic session. Pre-flight checks run automatically: version currency, health diagnostics, and deployment verification. Issues are auto-repaired before launch. Pass `mcp` to inject configured MCP servers into the provider config first. For past conversations, cross-provider timelines, or catalog queries, use `aiwg show skill session-explore --body`. The plural `aiwg sessions` namespace manages history; this skill launches a new provider session. ## Triggers Alternate expressions and non-obvious activations (primary phrases are matched automatically from the skill description): - "start a session" → `aiwg session` - "launch claude" → `aiwg session --provider claude` - "start with mcp" → `aiwg session mcp` - "start fresh" → `aiwg session` (triggers full pre-flight) - "launch codex" → `aiwg session --provider codex` ## Trigger Patterns Reference | Pattern | Example | Action | |---------|---------|--------| | Default launch | "start a session" | `aiwg session` | | Explicit provider | "launch with codex" | `aiwg session --provider codex` | | With MCP | "start with my MCP servers" | `aiwg session mcp` | …

How to install
mdr add jmagly/aiwg/session@sha256:4b1fc6f707fe441aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261022.29e265a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
