Use when a learner wants to start, grade, hand in, or check the score of their final assignment (the research assistant, graded privately, which earns the certificate). Walks final new, publish, grade, submit and the score file with the exact commands. Never writes the learner's agent for them.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Create, grade, submit, and read the score ## When to use The learner says "start my final assignment", "grade my agent", "submit the final", "where is my score", or pastes an error from `bootcamp final` or `bootcamp capstone` (the older name of the same command). The full tutorial, with every step explained, is `units/en/unit3/final-assignment.mdx` in the course folder. Read it before you start, and send the learner to it. **The final assignment is not the Gecko capstone.** The final assignment is the research assistant: graded on a private question set, it earns the certificate. The Gecko capstone is the store project presented on Friday 2 October, in https://github.com/Gecko-Academy/Dev3Pack-Gecko-Capstone-Project. This skill is only about the final assignment. If the learner means the store project, say so and send them to that repository. To hand in the store project's LINK (due 5 October), the command is `uv run bootcamp gecko submit --repo ../my-gecko-buyer --github <you> --push`, run from the course folder; the browser route is in `units/en/unit3/hand-in-by-october-5.mdx`. ## Two repositories, and they are easy to mix up …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
